The problem

An event logistics company stores several brands' equipment in one warehouse. Everything ran on Excel files traded over email: no real-time view of what was left, no trace of who took what, and no way to show a client their own stock without exposing everyone else's.

What we did

• Strict per-client data isolation: a client account only ever sees its own stock, enforced server-side rather than merely hidden in the UI.
• Import and export in CSV, Excel and PDF using the client's real working format (17 columns), so migrating years of spreadsheets costs nothing.
• Full stock movements — inbound, outbound, transfer, adjustment — with an available-stock guard that prevents negative quantities.
• Signable PDF delivery notes generated automatically and never overwritten: one manual withdrawal yields one note, one approved client batch yields a multi-line note.
• Phone-based barcode scanning for stocktaking, with no dedicated hardware.
• Automatic email alerts on expiry dates and low stock, a complete audit log, and an appointment calendar with reminders.
• Self-service client area: stock lookup, deposit and withdrawal requests.
